Magic Mountain Children's Center, Inc. (MMCC) is a nonprofit early childhood program, licensed by the State of Vermont. The program serves 28 children per day, with ages ranging from six weeks to five years. The preschool program is housed in a 200 year old farmhouse on the Vermont Law School campus. MMCC offers developmentally appropriate, play-based programs in which children actively explore and discover the world around them. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs and interests of each child.
Infant Child Care
For children under age three, relationships are the context. By building strong bonds with children and their families, you create a climate where learning flourishes. It enables you to the lay the groundwork for a lifetime of learning.
Toddler Child Care
The toddler room is a place where children begin learning about their relationship to people and things in their environment. As with all other classrooms, we use the Creative Curriculum for children in the infant room focusing on Content, Process and Context.
Time to gain independence and learn self control, welcome to the life of a preschooler! The Creative Curriculum breaks down preschool child development into four areas: Social/emotional, Physical, Cognitive, Language
"We feel lucky to have a place like Magic Mountain in our community. We are very happy with the quality of care our son receives there. It's not easy to be away from our baby during the day, but knowing that he is safe and in good hands with Magic Mountain's staff makes it easier. The staff is kind and welcoming and receptive to parents' concerns. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking quality care for their children."
“Clearly my son is excited about learning and comes home happy every day after being at Magic Mountain. I could not ask for more!!”
